Service history, reminders & value — for every machine you own.
1Garage is the logbook for your vehicles and equipment — what oil it takes, when service is due, your fuel and mileage, the title and receipts, and what it's worth. This guide walks through every feature and exactly how to use it.
Open 1GarageEverything — your machines, history, specs and reminders — works on your device with no account. Signing in is optional and only adds syncing across your devices and sharing a garage with family.
Tap Sign in (bottom bar) and continue with Apple or Google. Your garage then syncs to every device you sign in on.
Get it from the App Store or Google Play, or add the website to your home screen. It runs offline and opens full-screen.
Tap Add in the bottom bar, choose the type (car, truck, motorcycle, ATV, trailer, mower, tractor, boat, generator, equipment…), then enter the make/model — or scan/type a VIN to auto-fill year, make, model and engine. 1Garage fills in oil and specs where it can.
On the machine page tap Add photo, or pick a factory color for a studio render on supported vehicles. Tap the photo to view it full-screen.
Open the machine and tap the ✏️ edit button to change details, the powertrain (gas / diesel / hybrid / electric) or units, or to delete it.
Group machines into garages (Home, Work, The Barn…) from the Garages tab. Move a machine with the 🚪 button on its page or its press-and-hold menu.
In a garage, use Reorder (or press and hold) to drag machines into the order you want — it sticks and syncs across devices.
On the machine, tap I changed the oil on the Oil card. It stamps the date and mileage and resets the next-due reminder. Tap Undo if it was a mistake.
Tap Log service (or press and hold the machine → Log service). Add a title, tags, notes, parts, cost and the odometer reading.
Press and hold the machine (or its photo) → Log a fill-up (or Log a charge for EVs). Enter the odometer, gallons and cost. 1Garage figures your MPG, cost-per-mile and efficiency automatically — and shows your MPG right after you save.
Tap the odometer/hour-meter reading at the top of the machine to set the current number — it drives mileage-based reminders.
Drain-plug wrench size, oil grade, capacity and filter — tap any box to set it. 1Garage pre-fills these from public data, owner contributions and AI, so verify and tweak as needed.
Tap Add on the Quick reference card for specs like spark plug gap, antifreeze, hydraulic fluid, tire size or torque — or tap ✨ Look these up to fill them automatically. Drag rows to reorder.
Pre-filled specs are a helpful starting point, not the final word — always confirm against your owner's manual or a professional before buying parts or doing service.
Set a reminder by months and/or miles (or hours) when editing a machine. 1Garage warns you before it's due — and counts live miles if a connected car is linked.
In the Renewals card, add dates for registration, inspection/emissions, insurance and warranty (plus the license-plate number). You'll get a heads-up before each one lapses.
Open recalls for your vehicles surface automatically in the Safety recalls card — no lookups needed.
In the Tires card record size, cold pressure (front/rear), install mileage, tread life and brand, and snap the receipt for the road-hazard warranty. Your tire pressure also shows at a glance in Quick reference.
Track the model/part number, install date and warranty length, and keep the receipt — so you know if a dead battery is still covered.
Keep a running parts shopping list per machine, and log trips for mileage or business records.
Open the Documents card to see folders — Title, Insurance, Registration, Receipt, Manual, Other — each with its count. Tap a folder to see just those documents.
Inside a folder tap Add and choose Take a photo, Choose from gallery, or Browse files (images or PDF). It's saved into that folder.
Tap a document to open it full-screen — pinch or use +/− to zoom, drag to pan, and tap Save to download the original.
Vehicles show a live estimated market value. Pick the condition (Excellent / Good / Fair / Rough) for a closer number.
Use the 🔗 share button to turn on a public, read-only page (with a QR code) a buyer or mechanic can open without an account — plus a printable sell sheet and windshield sticker that pull from your service history.
From the Garages tab, open a garage's menu and invite someone by their Apple or Google email. Choose Viewer (read-only) or Co-owner (can log & edit). They sign in with that email and accept.
Sign in with the same Apple or Google account on each device and your garage stays in sync.
From Account → Back up everything, export a full copy of your data any time.
Pick an accent theme (or match your device's light/dark setting), and set units (miles / kilometers / hours) and powertrain per machine.
